Why this workshop?

​

Marco Krauwinkel gives a portrait photography workshop that meets the needs of every artist: 'In conversations I have with artists, I regularly hear the wish to gain more knowledge about photography. Shortcomings in the photos often lead to frustration and have an inhibiting influence on the quality of the final work of art. If you apply photography in this way and if you wish to gain more knowledge about photography, then this workshop is for you!

With this workshop I do not want to train artists to become accomplished photographers, but with sufficient knowledge of photography that is necessary to enrich their profession or serious hobby. During the Portrait Photography workshop I offer space to the individual way of working and wishes of the participants. After all, the application and the level of photographic knowledge will differ greatly between the various participants. The equipment of the participants will also differ, from digital cameras, I-pad to smartphones.

Structure of this workshop.​​

 

The focus during the workshop will be on the following points:

​​

• Create different compositions with portrait

• Camera, iPad or smartphone settings

• Editing Photos with GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program)

• Create grids for portrait proportions in Microsoft Windows Paint

• Safely storing digital work

 

Who is the Portrait Photography workshop for?

The Portrait Photography workshop is intended for painters who use photography as a basis for their paintings and want to significantly increase their quality.

Workshop lesson times from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m

Cost

The workshop includes manual/reference work, USB stick, use of laptop,coffee/tea and lunch.

The costs are €175,- including VAT
